What Thinkly does

Thinkly records (or lets you upload) voice and turns it into transcripts plus useful outputs like notes, tasks, and project-style views — all linked back to the original recording.

What we collect

👤 Account

• Email (Android email + password sign up)
• Google / Apple sign-in identifiers (when you choose those options)
• Display name (optional)
• Guest account (anonymous, no email). Your library is still tied to that guest account in the cloud.

🎙️ Voice & content

• Audio recordings you capture or upload
• Text generated from your audio (transcripts, summaries, structured outputs)
• Recording metadata (length, type: note / task / project, timestamps)

💳 Subscriptions

• Plan tier, billing period, status, products, and trial timing
• Billing is handled by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat — Thinkly never receives your full card number

⚙️ Device & preferences

• On-device settings (onboarding progress, reminders on/off, last capture type)
• With new recordings: language + focus so results match how you use Thinkly

📊 Plan usage

• Recording time tracked over time so free, trial, and paid limits stay fair
• Usage tracking may still apply after you delete items or reset a workspace </aside>

Security & keeping your data

🔐 Secure transfer

HTTPS encrypts data between your device and Thinkly.

🕒 How long we keep things

Recordings and linked outputs stay until you delete them — nothing silently expires.

🗑️ Deleting a recording

Deleting a recording removes the audio plus its transcript and any linked outputs (notes, tasks, project content) — the same scope you confirm on the delete screen.

♻️ Workspace reset

A reset clears synced workspace content for a fresh start. It’s strong cleanup, but not a guarantee that every backend technical trace vanishes instantly everywhere.

🚪 Signing out

Signing out ends your session on this device only. Your cloud library remains until you delete items or delete your account.

🧨 Delete account

Profile → Delete account removes your Thinkly profile and cloud library through our account-delete flow. Cancel Apple/Google subscriptions separately in store settings (we can’t stop store billing for you).

Notifications

• If you opt in, Thinkly may schedule reminders on your device (e.g., around tasks or due dates)
• Gentle heads-ups when you’re close to plan limits (only if notifications are allowed)
• Managed on your device: control them in Thinkly and your phone’s notification settings </aside>

• Notifications: toggle inside Thinkly and adjust permission in system settings
• Copy/share/export: where Thinkly offers these actions on notes, tasks, projects, or recordings
• Delete account: Profile → Delete account (see Security & keeping your data)
